La Belleza Del Amore y Los Recuerdos (The Beauty of Love and Memories) by Al Molina

Al Molina is an Artist based out of Corpus Christi, TX. Al’s love of art started from the time he could hold a pencil. He has worked with several mediums including oils, pencils, pastels, watercolors, and polymer clay, but his love for acrylics is where he has found his passion. He is inspired by things that draw his attention and he specializes in portraits of people, including celebrities, and musicians. To Al the beauty of telling a story through the eyes and faces of the subjects he paints is what he loves the most about being an artist and his attention to detail has propelled him to international recognition. Al’s goal is to inspire young artist to follow their passion, to never give up on their dreams and to keep art alive.
Artist Statement: "The Beauty of Love and Memories is a collection of acrylic works on canvas and wood that reflect my love for Dia de Los Muertos. I enjoy the celebration, the meaning behind the holiday, the emotions that it evokes, and the love of remembering the people that have meant so much to us. This artwork is my interpretation of the beauty of the holiday expressed by emotions through the portraits of people and conveying moods through colors."
