About the event
This year, we celebrate the whimsical world of Lewis Carroll, author of the delightfully imaginative Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, with WigOut in Wonderland! Join us as we step through the looking glass and embark on an adventure through Wonderland, renowned for its whimsical and nonsensical elements where the extraordinary becomes the norm.
Notably, Carroll’s writing played a pivotal role in catalyzing the surrealist art movement of the early 1900s, serving as a wellspring of inspiration for accomplished artists like Max Ernst and Salvador Dalí. The Silent Auction and Swag Bag designs will feature artwork by popular local artists inspired by Wonderland and Surrealism. WigOut attendees are invited to dress in costume and/or wear wigs or artful accessories related to this theme.
WigOut in Wonderland! dares to be an enchanting night. Our signature “Drink Me“ cocktail will have you dancing with the Cheshire Cat to music…
