Tele-Caste System: site (un) scene, a multi-media art installation including life-size sculpture combined with drawing, photography and video. The exhibition is the collaborative effort of artists Amorette Garza of Corpus Christi and Shreepad Joglekar of Victoria. Josh MacPhee is an artist, designer, curator, author and activist. He has released three books, Stencil Pirates: A Global Survey of Street Stenciling (2004), Realizing the Impossible: Art Against Authority (w/Erik Reuland, 2007) and most recently Reproduce & Revolt (w/Favianna Rodgriguez, 2008). A street artist, printmaker and poster maker and for over 15 years, MacPhee regularly exhibits around the world. He also helps run Justseeds.org, a radical art distribution
cooperative. For 10 years he has curated the Celebrate People's History poster series, a collection of inexpensive educational posters focused on suppressed and little known histories of social justice movements. In addition, MacPhee curated Paper Politics, an exhibition of socially engaged printmaking that has traveled to Brooklyn, Chicago, Corpus Christi, Montreal and four other cities.
